Looking for a happy hour and taco Tuesday special in the area and we landed at Judy's Cantina. We both got the $5 margarita on sale for taco Tuesday and the free chips and salsa to start. The salsa was chunky and a little smoky? We were trying to figure out what spice was in there that was a little different. We both got tacos a la carte for the taco Tuesday deal and were super impressed. We've gone to other Mexican places around town and thought this was definitely a step up from some other spots. Overall the service was good and the atmosphere was okay, we would totally come back.

Love the people and the food here! I wish they had a slightly better Queso but will support them in this location!

Came in at 11 for a little breakfast and of course Judy's didn't disappoint. The environment there is just great always clean, staff is amazing and the owners are so kind and welcoming. If you haven't been there before you must run and get it some of their delicious food.

I ordered a steak fajita and it was delicious! The steak was seasoned to my liking. I got the jumbo margarita for $13 which was good. The service was friendly. Our waitress was very nice and made sure we were good. The ambiance was very pleasant, music was playing and the other patrons helped us celebrate my friend's birthday.

Food: very delicious and large portions! Got the salsa (amazing), melted cheese (not runny like queso, but huge portion and was so good), and the fajitas (another huge portion and perfectly done). Also got the margaritas, which were cheap and strong. Also was not a neon color and full of sugar!! Service: wait staff was knowledge and very friendly. We were in and out quickly thanks to them! Overall would highly recommend Judy's, I'm thrilled we have a high quality Mexican restaurant on the east side!

Judy's is one of our favorite spots in the city. The shredded beef tacos are the best! Kevin is the sweetest and we couldn't recommend his restaurant more

Got carry-out last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the chicken enchiladas with green sauce. The chicken was very tender and not dry. The enchiladas had good flavor. It came with rice and beans. Unfortunately, the rice was over cooked. Overall I was happy with my meal.

I was eating light when we dined at Judy's. The two tacos I had were really good. The server was attentive and make sure we had a good time and enjoyed ourselves. The look of the spot reminded me of a vacation I took once to Puerto Rico. There is ample parking on the lot right outside the restaurant. They have a full bar too.

Great prices. Great options. $5 margaritas during happy hour. Free chips and salsa (it's spicy). Really good service. Nice open indoor space. Some things to note: they charge you $3 for shredded beef (this is not on the menu nor did our waitress indicate to us there was an upcharge). Luckily, the shredded beef was delicious as was the chicken. I had the Judy's combo: one tamale, one chimichanga, and one flouta. I had all chicken to keep it simple. The beans and rice were really good (rice was a little dry but that's why you mix it into the beans). The chimi was outstanding, the tamale was pretty small (half the size you usually get), and the flouta was hard as heck (either the shell was hard corn or they over fried it? I'm not sure). My dining partner had the mole poblano with the aforementioned shredded beef. It was super tasty. I can't wait to explore the menu more because there are just so many good options. And, I want to make a special note that they have two hamburgers on the menu and both are under $10. For reference, Good City down the block runs about $15 for their hamburgers.
